The Moca Clinic:
|
| We are building a dental and medical clinic in the city of Moca in the
Dominican Republic. From this central location we reach out to the struggling
people of Moca and into surrounding areas such as mountain villages and
barrios. |
|
|
| Christian Medical Mission Teams are formed from health care professionals
and volunteers living in the United States. These teams travel to the
Dominican Republic on a short term basis. They provide medical services
from ten to thirty days in city and rural areas, meeting the health care
needs of the Dominican people. |
|
|
| In the April of 1994 Jack Meibam, R.N. and Dr.McDonald traveled to the
Dominican Republic to help out with a group from Grace Bible Fellowship
of Concord, NH. After returning to the United States they both felt a
need to go back to the Dominican Republic to continue to provide medical
and dental care. After several trips they have made a commitment to establish
the Christian Medical Mission, a non-profit,
non-denominational organization. |
| |
| The hope is to help others get involved involved in a life changing
experience. From accountants to truck drivers, physicians to teachers,
students, or anyone else who is seeking to show the love of God
to others through medical care. That is our aim, plain and simple. |
